Frankenstein’s Army 2013 | Review
This starts off like a straight war movie. The first scene feels like you just started watching the movie from the middle. It just gets right to into the action with no set up or exposition, other than allied army troop is on a mission and they run into something horrific. There are some things…
The Unborn 2009 | Review
This opens with nice aerial shots of a beautiful winter landscape. I didn’t know if this was supposed to take place in the tri-state area or New England, but it had that feel. It turns out it was filmed in Chicago and some other suburban towns in Illinois. In a lot of ways, Chicago is…
The Green Slime 1968 | Semi Spoiler Review
This blond lady’s updo is a bit much, just to work at a space station, but go on sis. I was not expecting that jaunty theme song. I don’t know what I was thinking. This movie came out in 1968. We’re lucky it didn’t have a girl in a bikini and body paint gogo dancing.…
Antibirth 2016 | Horror Movie Review
Looks like they used left-over sets from Rob Zombie movies. The characters look almost as dirty. Natasha Lyonne’s character Lou blacks out and finds herself pregnant via strange circumstances. WTF with the TV programming? At first I thought they were going for a Frank Hennonlotter feel. He directed Frankenhooker, Basket Case, and Brain Damage. Then I thought…
Xtro 1982 | Horror Movie Review

Bastard 2015 | Horror Movie Review
The movie jumps right into the natural-born killer style couples murdering some guy. Then we meet another couple or brother and sister? I really couldn’t tell if they were a couple or siblings. Are they both? They are really weird with each other. The girl is super shy and timid. The brother/boyfriend is bland as ever.…
Gnome Alone | Horror Movie Reaction
The movie starts with some really badass animation intercut with some scenes that explain the back story of a Leprechaun and the witch who betrayed him. She was marked with the sign of the curse, so she summoned a Gnome for protection. With each generation a new witch is marked with the curse, and…
Night of Something Strange | Horror Movie Video Review
I’m going to spoil the first 5 minutes because you need to understand what kind of movie this is.
The movie starts with a janitor going down the hallway of a hospital with his mop bucket. He goes into the morgue and sees the body of a dead woman, so he
