OBSESSION is Intense AF!

Curry Barker’s Obsession is not what you think it is. When I first saw the teaser I mistakingly grouped it with classic psycho sexual thrillers like Fatal Attraction, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Fear, and Single White Female. While part of the premise for this might remind you those thrillers, this crosses firmly into horror territory, spinning a Monkey’s Paw style yarn similar to Wish Upon or Mirror Mirror, with one key difference. This movie is actually scary. Details in the video below:

Curry Barker has created a movie that is genuinely scary and unsettling. His filmmaking shows that he has studied from the best horror masters with elements that remind one of William Friedkin and Clive Barker. He also served as writer and editor and has done an amazing job as both.

Inde Navarrette is phenominal as Nikki. Her performance is integral to why this film works as well as it does. She demonstrates incredible range! Of course she had an equally amazing performer to act opposite of her. Michael Johnston was perfect as the terrified Bear, who must try to find a way out of a horrific situation.
